Mixing

Mixing is the technique of blending all of the individual tracks in a recording to create a version of the song that sounds as good as possible.  Some aspects of mixing include:

• Balancing the levels of the tracks that have been recorded
   

• Fine-tuning the sound of each instrument or voice using equalization (EQ)
   

• “Panning” the tracks between speakers to create a stereo image
   

• Adding reverb, compression, and other effects to enhance the original recording

Mastering

Our mastering will take your home recordings or our professionally recorded tracks to a whole new level.  Some ways mastering can enhance your music include:
 

• Adjusting songs tonal balance
   

• Compressing and Limiting the Overall Sound Level (industry competitive levels)
   

• Add or Correct Improper Fades
   

• Set Spacing Between Tracks
   

• Using Noise Reduction and Sound Restoration if Needed
